Ok, I know a lot of people are saying this isn't a good instrument. On
the contrary, it is fantastic. This little thing gives off a great
sound. IT IS NOT A TOY. This is an instrument, and it sounds like one
too-- but you don't have to dish out $200. This is a great starting uke,
and I much prefer it to a soprano size because they tune the same, but
the concert size is easier to hold and to play chords.
Now, if you go
onto almost ANY amazon uke review, you'll get this, "This thing is a
piece of junk. Goes out of tune the second I hit the string. Hate it.
Never buying from this seller again." Ok, sometime's that's true, but
what those people don't know is.....
It takes a while for uke strings to stretch out.
Magic.
So, while people here may say it goes out of tune, that's because
they're nice aquilla-gut stings are brand-spanking new, and since
they're made out of nylon and gut, they take longer to stretch out.

So then they talk about damaged fretboards, body, stuff like that. If
you'd rather not have that, I'd recommend wandering over to your local
music store. They might even have one that's been on the shelf so the
strings will be stretched and ready to play. That's what I did.
